Mark 10:45 says that Jesus came to serve, not be served.
That is the spirit AREA51 students hope to take into the local community~ a spirit of simply serving.
Thursday, May 24th we will be downtown at the Kingsport Concert Series on Broad Street handing out water
and popsicles to folks…all in the name of “showing God’s love in a practical way!”
We are collecting change at the AREA51 table in the lobby to help offset the cost of the items we’ll be handing out! Every little bit helps, so if your pockets are too heavy today drop by and empty them at our table. Thank you for helping us to help others!
Summertime is fast approaching and UpStreet is gearing up for our Summer Program. This program begins in June and runs through August. This is a great time for us to show our appreciation to our Ministry Partners and give them a little break to rejuvenate!
In doing this, we ask the parents of the UpStreet kids to volunteer for a Sunday during this program. Don’t worry, you won’t be alone. There will be at least two ministry partners with you on these Sundays.
There are 13 opportunities (13 Sundays) for parents to show appreciation to the team. There will be a sign up sheet at the check in table. Just pick a date, or two, and we will do the rest.
Thank you in advance for your support and your heart for our Harvest Kids! For any questions or to sign up via email, please email Christy McGriff at christymcgriff@gmail.com.

Living Sacrifices…
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT
We’re meeting at 223 E. Center Street from 6:30-8:00. We’ve not been getting started until 7pm, but we’ve also not been leaving there till 8:30 so starting April 11th we’re going to move to starting at 6:30…the chill time seems to work better at the end rather than the beginning. BE ON TIME YALL!
Easter is bringing an awesome opportunity to explore the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Christ Jesus. Join us for that in April!
SUNDAY NIGHT
Sunday nights our high schooler’s are meeting at youth pastor Robbie’s house for small group from 6-8pm. I don’t want to just throw out my address on the web, but email, text, call, or tap me on the shoulder and I’ll give you my address.
We’re eating from 6-7pm and having our small group from 7-8pm. At 8pm I’m throwing y’all out of the house LOL.
We’re trying to work out a small group for middle school but it’s tough–we haven’t forgotten our middle schooler’s but it’s tough since y’all can’t drive. We’ll get that started ASAP.
If you have any questions, feel free to holler at any me at youthpastorrob@harvesttn.com or any of our volunteer youth staff on Sundays.
BIG LOVE!

..to help the UpStreet kids reach our goal – Come Visit Us in UPSTREET!
During the month of March we are focusing on building our ministry team. Our goal this month was to have 10 people visit with us in UpStreet for a Sunday in March. So far we have 3. Because we know the Harvest Family is full of people who have a big heart for seeing kids grow into a close relationship with Jesus Christ, we are extending our goal through the 3rd week of April. Help us reach our goal by visiting our table upstairs after the service, and let us know if you will join us on April 1st or 15th. Or you may email Christy McGriff at christymcgriff@gmail.com for more information.
