AREA51 YOUTH MINISTRY LUNCH & A MOVIE FUNDRAISER

We have a limited number of tickets left that can be purchased at the area51 table. The movie will be at the area51 Youth room at 223 East Center St. You may park in the 1st Tennessee Bank parking lot and use our back door in the alley. Lunch will be served at 12:00 and the movie will start shortly afterwards.

Clothes for Children…

Our area currently has over 1,000 children that are homeless and/or are in need of clothes. If you’d like to help by giving a tax deductible donation of new or gently used children’s/adult clothes, kitchen or household items for these families please contact Amy Fitzpatrick at 423-367-7030 anytime thru December and January.

There will be a rummage sale sometime soon, we will let you know when the date is set!

KIDSTUF DANCERS MEETING

All Kidstuf Dancers will be meeting for dance practice immediately after the January 22nd service. We’ll have pizza first, then practice. Parents are welcome to stay and eat. We will practice down the block, at Picsee Studio, 115 east market street.

Local Christmas Ministry Work With The Interfaith Hospitality Network

If you would like to help provide a meal, or evening hosting with the Interfaith Hospitality Network, Harvest will be assisting Holy Trinity Lutheran Church December 18-25. Resurrection 2012 Youth Conference will be Jan 13-15th in Gatlinburg.  If you are planning on attending, please stop by the AREA51 to sign up.  Details about lodging arrangements and costs will be announced once we have a final number of those attending.

Answer the Phone

Do you sense that you are being called to get involved but you are not sure just how? We have several different roles in the Children’s Ministry that are waiting on someone to answer the phone. We are so very blessed for the leaders we have with the precious gift of working with children. If you want to get involved but don’t feel that is your gifting, no worries, we have other roles that are behind the scenes. Sounds like something you may be interested in learning more about? AREA51 Service Project

AREA51 Youth are going to Second Harvest to help assemble  5000 Thanksgiving Day boxes for the needy in our community on Mon, Nov 14th and Tues, Nov 15th from 6-8pm.  Stop by the AREA 51 table to find out the details and to pick up your Nov calendar.
