Wednesday, March 30, 2011 work night

We had another great work night in the Children’s Ministry building! First and foremost I must tell the coolest part of the night…..in the midst of deconstructing the building, we built up the Body of Christ….one of our youth got saved last night!! We are all so happy for you, Chelsea!! Okay, back to the manual labor update…..ALL of the Kidstuf props were packed and delivered to storage by one of our small groups! We also emptied out the youth room and cleaned up the construction site in there. The Kidstuf set is completely down and most of the tech booth was dismantled. We even cleaned out the fridge (science projects were growing in there!) and some of the kitchen cabinets! The youth came out and worked too and that was a blessing. I enjoyed watching the fellowship take place as people that didn’t know each other all that well worked cooperatively to get a job done and then became fast friends!

We will have a lighter night tonight and mostly do some sorting in the Clubhouse as everything is now in that room and has to be organized for delivery to the storage facility. We have a 60% chance of showers today and tonight so we will not be taking any loads of wood tonight. If a few want to come out to clean and sort that would be great but otherwise take the night off and give yourselves a pat on the back for a week of great work. If Saturday is a nice day, we may be looking at hauling the rest of the wood for storage. Keep checking back and we will get word out. We now have access to a 16 foot open trailer as well as an 8 foot trailer so we will be able to get all the wood out in one trip!!

Thanks again to all who have worked and prayed and supported this project! Your attitudes and willingness to give of yourselves has been huge evidence of what a great God we serve and how great it is to be a part of the Harvest family!!
